Botswanian Propaganda was a short documentary-film created by Mlecz that premiered on the 27th January 2021 on YouTube. It was about the Louisiades-Botswanian war in regards to alleged propaganda released by Botswana on the EarthMC Wiki. The video is no longer available on YouTube.
Background[]
After the Louisiades-Botswanian war started, a wikipage was quickly made. It would be the subject of edit warring involving both sides, with wiki moderators having to intervene to stop it, resulting in one Botswanian editor being blocked from editing the wiki.
Both sides sent complaints to wiki staff about bias, and the main wikipage on topic was edited in a manner deemed most neutral, however allegations of propaganda came from both sides. Mlecz would soon make this to document what he viewed as propaganda on the wiki.

The film was produced using online editing tools, using screenshots and revision history of the wiki. It also would feature records of battles previously undisclosed.

The documentary would premiere on the 27th January 2021, with it being advertised in the EarthMC discord, EarthMC Wiki discord and being sent to wiki mod gorkymoo1119.
During the premiere, it would receive a mass amount of dislike as Botswanian residents received it, as well as Botswanian allies. However, it would mostly be given a negative reception during the premiere.
Reception[]
Due to the contents of the video, there was quick controversy generated about the video. However, the reception was mostly negative, with 300 views in under a week, and majority of likes over dislikes.
There was little response from Botswana officially, other than their Prime Minister rejecting the claims.
Aftermath[]
After the release, small changes to content happened on the EarthMC Wiki, with a few wikipages removed and description featured in the Louisiades-Botswanian war page altered.
