Yamagata was a Japanese town located on the island of Honshu. The town was founded by Unkosamurai, and later given to KawadaJP, who would eventually give the town to Roineur. Once Roineur quit EMC in mid 2020, Parvall became the town's last mayor. The town disbanded in late December 2020
History[]
Early History (3rd July - August)[]
The town was created on the 3rd of July by ass_catchem, under the name of unkosamurai at the time, with a 54G loan received from Yllalen, who was very delighted to see that someone decided to make a town in the area of Niigata, which was, and still is, a ghost of its former glory. Unkosamurai then left Yamagata, leaving KawadaJP as the Mayor. KawadaJP built all of its infrastructure and main buildings, which, to this day, is still standing. He also invested into the towns chunk size, taking it from 7 chunks to 140.
The Great Inactivity (August - Mid September)[]
During this time, KawadaJP and ass_catchem left the town, leaving Roineur and some other citizens behind to run Yamagata. Eventually Roineur became the mayor, but was mostly inactive. It was thought that the town would disband, but that wasn't the case.
The Era of Clans (Mid September - March)[]
When Roineur returned to EarthMC, he saw a massive change in Japan and joined the Clan of Shimazu. A player named shae_ joined Yamagata thinking it was a remake of Niigata, a thing that stirred Roineur's curiosity about the history of his town. He soon started expanding the town and recruiting people, most notably darceboir and Alkali1234.
Contemporary History[]
As of now, Yamagata is a pretty big and relevant town. Being the successor of Niigata, it holds an important position in the area. When Roineur decided to quite EMC on the 6th of May, 2020 the town was handed over to its highest ranking member Parvall.
