The Kingdom of Vietnam was an absolute monarchy which was created in 2018 and ruled until the Communist Party took power in August 2019.
History[]
Vietnam formed in the early days of Terra Nova which collapsed and was recreated by Mihailovic after being placed under brief Thai Military Occupation until the new nation was created in January 2019. Mihailovic stepped down as King and gave the nation to Kubikiribocho on 25 January 2019 after he decided to move to Majapahit.
Development of Relations with Neighbors[]
Vietnam was a founding member of the Bangkok Pact along with Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar in January 2019. The pact sought to create a peaceful region and create a border agreement that everyone could agree with.
Vietnam also joined the House of Uesugi, an Asian mega alliance which included nations such as Qin and Siam. But decided to leave in March 2019 with Siam after the Hainan Crisis.
SleveMarlin Era[]
Kubikiribocho decided to step down as Queen to move to the Netherlands and gave leadership duties to SleveMarlin on 17 March 2019 making him King. This also switched the capital from Hai Phong to Vinh. Relations between Vietnam and Siam were at their best during this period and frequent acts of kindness were given and received by both nations to one another. The Capital of Vinh was built up by SleveMarlin to attract more visitors.
Return of Mihailovic and Sale of Vietnam[]
Mihailovic returned to Vietnam after over half a year and not much was achieved within the month duration that Mihailovic had returned for. Mihailovic then sold the nation to doct_fr which marked the end of the Kingdom of Vietnam and the beginning of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
